Our research indicates that supportive housing needs for seniors over the next 20-30 years will exceed 200,000 homes throughout Ontario, and 400,000 throughout Canada. The Solterra model can be developed in numerous locations by anyone who believes in community, and has a desire to become self-employed. The owners, Shelley Raymond and Gilbert Ludlow, are offering a unique opportunity to serious entrepreneurs who are interested in developing a Solterra project in their community. Our goal is to spread the word to multiple communities to find motivated and caring entrepreneurs willing to join our team.
Our professional staff, consultants, legal team, accountants, and designers are available to duplicate our Solterra In-home Support Services Ltd. entire package including all the documents, files, manuals, presentations, plans, sales, marketing, and care components. We will provide the necessary training and ongoing support for you to start a project in your community, and to become the company that supports the services needed for the shared home. The income potential for your new business varies from $90,000 – $180,000 based on the area and number of shared suites available in your community.
We require a complete application with cover letter, resume, supporting documents, and references. Our development coordinator will review your application and schedule a personal interview and tour of our model home in Bracebridge, ON.
Our consulting and training package includes an in-depth community assessment for your area, a business plan, and 80 hours of class training. Ongoing support and access to our network of business entrepreneurs is also provided. In the end, you will have a turn-key business opportunity without the ongoing franchise fees normally required in a business relationship with the creators of the business model.
